just got back today from our first road trip with the twins. left last fri across to canada, then a few days at niagra. came back around thru new york, Penn, and ohio. we planned on being gone a few extra days because we werent really sure on how well they would take the long distance, and planned for a rain day as well. We don't mind riding in the rain, but would rather not with the boys on the back.The boys did great....even said they wanted to take a longer trip soon. SO glad they enjoy the bikes as much as we do! I ride a street glide, and hubby has a road king...now just planning on where to go next!

 

Sounds like a great time. Your boys are lucky to get to experience such a trip.
