Default Motorcycle friendly hotels in Vegas

After a trip to Grand Canyon, we decided to head over to Vegas. Can anyone recommend biker friendly hotel. By friendly I mean safe and secure bike set up for overnight stay. I've read some horror stories about leaving bikes exposed in Vegas. Thanks

When riding the bike to Vegas, I've always stayed on Freemont Street at the Plaza or Golden Nugget. Both have parking garages with designated bike parking although the Golden Nugget is by far a much nicer hotel. Have not had any problems to date. I take all of my non lockable accessories with me to the room (park in the valet before check-in take all your stuff off and use a porter). Park the bike, lock it up and have fun. Of course when I bring the wife and not the bike we stay in one of the strip hotels.

1+ on the Nugget. Spent a night at the Hard Rock also and security was not an issue. Seems that if you stay at a "Brand Casino" you should not have a problem(Strip or Freemont St). If you see Route 66 historic signs while in route to the Grand Canyon take the exit and enjoy....FT

Most of the big hotels have secure parking. We stayed at the Vdara and the Cosmopolitan, which had very good parking for bikes.

On your way back to LV, at Kingman AZ you can jump over to RT 66 and ride a bit of history. Make sure to stop at the 'general store' in Hackberry.
Don't blink, you'll miss it. lol

Stayed at the Renaissance off the strip (but within walking distance - kinda long tho) and they let me park the bike myself in the garage. The hotel was very nice and the price was pretty good too.

Word of advice... TAKE YOUR SADDLEBAGS INSIDE with you. I had my bags bolted on properly with tamper-proof bolts and parked in the secure valet lot (Rio). Someone couldn't get my bolts out, so they just took off the mounting brackets and took it all. That means they sat there with wrenches for at least a few minutes. There is no way to secure them well enough that they're safe. Lesson learned the hard way.

I've spent several nights in Vegas, always on the strip, never had a problem. Of course I don't think the fact I ride a bike entitles me to special parking privileges so I am probably parked a little deeper in the garages that must thieves look.

Three of us stayed at the Rio in July '05.
Left the bags on the bikes. No problems.
Guess we were lucky.
It was 99 degrees at 6 am when we headed out.

stayed at the Venetian for 4 nights the first week of June. Motorcycle parking is near where the guards are posted; I experienced no problems. A great place to stay also.

Most of the Casinos have dedicated motorcycle parking. Some though are better than others. The garage for Planet Hollywood/forum shops creeped me out and I don't know if I would leave my bike there. I've always felt good with the parking at the Luxor. It's on the ground floor next to the elevators and brightly lit. I'm not so keen on the parking at the Flamingo either. The one on the first floor as you turn in is nice; but, often full. There are little cubby holes for bikes on the upper floors; but, I don't know if I would leave my bike there. Several of the off-strip casinos also have good motorcycle parking. Sam's Town has a gated area on the third floor for motorcycle. Boulder Station, Red Rock, and Sunset are decent too.
