Taking off for Canada in July Mostly Quebec providence Any tips on what the roads are like and what's instore for me?

Roads are good. A little narrower than down south, but over all a pleasant ride.
P.s. Keep your speed in check. Lots of eyes everywhere.

I agree, learn a few french words. They like that there. If you make a bit of effort they'll treat you a whole lot nicer.

QC roads are NASTY, QC police are rude arrogent power triping azzholes to english. french girls are awesome though. if your hittign montreal st catherines street is a must visit
