Thinking about heading to west coast from North Platte Neb. leaving on the night of july 3. The only part off the plan so far is to be in Reno on July 5. I would like to see the red woods and then the coast and go north. I will have 10 days to go north and head home. at this point the trip turns to an open slate. Any suggestions for places and things to see in Oregon/Washington?

Crater Lake is something you need to see.

 

Mt St Helens, Winthrop Wa, Leavenworth Wa,,Hell's canyon, Oregon coast, Columbia Gorge (take the north side), Sisters Or., Road from Lewiston Wa to Enterprise Or, Oh man, so many roads, so little time.

 

Whisky is spot on.... Sisters,Cascade Lakes Hwy, Crater Lake.... thats just central Oregon highlights... then the coast....endless.
