Yet the bastiges gave 250 million to Egypt. Some thing just aren't right. The first thing they should have done is cut the salary of everyone on Capitol Hill!

+1 on the Dyer's burgers! Also tour the Gibson factory if you like guitars.

Funny how that $hit works. How about the $51 million for new uniforms for the TSA agents?

Thanks Bob, unfortunately I am looking June or July, but I am sure there will still be a lot of music.

8upguitarman, Thanks, I don't play, but I do enjoy factory tours. Sounds like Dyer's will have to be on the plan.

Tupelo has Elvis's home where he was born but maybe you knew that.
There's a famous rib place in Memphis but I can't recall the name, I'm sure if you ask someone there they'll know it.
Beale street is a blast,a party for 4 city blocks.
You can't go wrong for roads to ride around the Smoky's, they are all fun.
We went to Shilo Civil War memorial park and it was an interesting place for me.
Enjoy.

Rendezvous is one of the BBQ joints in Memphis. About 3 blocks from Beale Street.

If you are on a music vacation, keep going south an hour or so to Clarksdale, MS. Ground Zero Blues Club partly owned by Morgan Freeman. A couple of places where they are playing the blues. Even playing on the streets I believe. There is "The Shack Up Inn" old sharecropper cabins you can rent. I have not been but want to go real bad. I got a friend and his wife rode up there a couple of years ago. They said it was the best trip they ever took.

I know many of you live in or have visited Tennessee, Mississippi, and Kentucky and wanted to see if you all could help me with: things to see/do, places to stay, and routes.

As I said I will be riding from Virginia (Spotsylvania) and want to take the Blue Ridge Parkway. Then I was looking to visit:

Deals Gap/Tail of the Dragon
Chattanooga
Nashville
Tupelo (maybe)
Memphis (Graceland & Beale Street)
Mammoth Cave
Renfro Valley

Again, I am look for your recommendations on things to see/do in these cities (or other cities), places to stay, and routes.

I know I am asking a lot, but I also know you guys are the experts.

Thanks.

Mike

Take route 127S all the way thru TN to Sequatchie Valley... Then go over Signal Mountain and down into Chattanooga... Have Dinner at 'The Big River'... Then ride up/over Lookout Mountain via route 157... Then drop down through Cloudland Canyon on route 136 to route 59 to route 24 West... Enjoy...

The tailof the dragon is supposed to be awesome but....

I talked to my buddies wife and she said it scared the bejesus out of her and every woman in the pack.

Now every single guy I spoke with said it was amazing.

I am giving you this advice because I don't know if you will be two up or not but if so make sure to think of her too or your whole trip might be ruined.
