I'll be in Vegas next week on an assignment but am staying 3-4 days extra for some vacation. I'd love to rent a scooter...little surprised at the prices (shouldn't be). Will need to ride two up with the wife...my ride is a 12 RKC..would enjoy seeing the town on something different yet comfortable for the two of us.

Who else has done this...

Any thoughts or recommendations? Best or secret deals?

I rented a street glide from the dealership there. In and out in 20min

 

Wife and I both rented at the dealership 2 years ago, they had a good selection, price was not negotiable but reasonable with unlimited mileage. The Hoover Dam, then across the Arizona side down to Route 66' back through Oatman and Laughlin to Vegas is a nice day ride. Spectacular scenery.

Forget the town. Ride north east out of Vegas then south through the Valley of Fire. Stop at Lake Las Vegas for lunch, then on to the Hover Dam. After Hover you can be in Kingman ffor diner and a motel. In the morning jump on Route 66 and take 64 to the Grand Canyon national Park. Stay the night in Flagstaff, then ride southwest to Lake Havasu City. Have lunch, ride north on 95 through searchlight to Vegas.
This is a nice 3 day ride, you will see some grand and historic sites on a variety of highways.

 

I ride a RKC and rented at Street Glide at Eagle Rider - they were great. We went northeast through the Valley of Fire - awesome! Would do it again. From there to Hoover Dam - loved that too!
