Default Mt Washington area hotels??

I am heading up to Mt Washington to ride the Kang and the Auto Road this weekend...does anyone have a hotel recommendation? I dont mind within an hour ride or so from the area

If you mean the Kanc, there are a lot of good B&B's in the area.

Well, the Mt Washington Omni Resort is starting at $319/night...A little rich for my taste. I was hoping to find more of a hotel/motel rather than a B&B...

Check out the Jackson area, not too far from the auto road and some great restaurants, the Wildcat for one and just around the corner the Jackson Inn.

Never stayed there, but heard the Town and Country in Gorham is a decent place. Should be able to find something in North Conway also, but the prices will probably be at a premium.

I was on Hotels.com and saw the Town and Country before you said anything about it. I only saw the pic listed on the main page and it didn't look like much. Especially when the price was hovering at the $100/night mark where all the others were $150 and up. After reading your suggestion I decided to look at the T&C...glad I did. Looks like a decent enough place, I think thats the winner. Great reviews too
