I've done both. Both are great. I love going north to Lake City. Rum or Brandy, I like them both.
I'm leaving Thursday to check out 141.

I've been researching southwestern colorado & have to say that bikers from this area are lucky to have so many great roads to travel. 1 stop I have to make is Mesa Verde N.P. & it's cliff dwellings. I've always been interested in native american history. Oh YAH.....almost forgot to ask......where can I get a really great steak? Nothing to me is better after a long day on the road then a BIG,FAT,JUICY STEAK!

If you like the Million Dollar, give the Devils Highway in AZ a shot. Awesome road (except for the tar snakes in a few mile stretch of switchbacks) and over 120 miles long.

Default Steak

The Red Barn on the east side of Montrose has a decent steak and cold beer

I'll second the Red Barn! Love that place! Just ate there on a recent tour through the area.

If you can't make it to Montrose, try Ol' Miner Steakhouse in Gunnison (Main Street). SJ Ron
