Default 12 Bike Crash in Wisconsin

A 12-motorcycle accident in Fond du Lac County has left one person dead and several others badly injured. It happened just before 3 this afternoon near the intersection of Welling Beach Road and Highway 151 in the Town of Taycheedah. Police say a driver heading southbound on 151 crossed the center line and struck several bikers. One was pronounced dead at the scene.

I see there is an earlier posting on this topic with many more responses.

Very Sad! I wonder if I know any of them, seeing as they were from Michigan?

In General ... In a group situation there's not the room needed to escape colliding with each other while attempting to not go down. I think this is why I'd rather trail behind a group ride. I don't feel splitting a lane is a smart idea .... ever!

Not much you can do when someone crosses the center line group or not.
