Prince Edward Island
Hi,
Does anyone have what they'd consider the best route to take around Prince Edward Island? I've never been, but from what I've heard it's an experience and a half.
Would you recommend just sticking the coast the whole way around? Or dipping through the center of the island as well?
Thanks!

Hi there, I'm not from PEI but from Cape Breton Island.I go to PEI about once a year for a ride.Get on by ferry and off by bridge, you only pay when leaving and it's cheaper on the bridge.PEI is pretty compact in size and the whole island can easily be done in 2-3 days.I usually follow the coastline all around and stay in Charlottown which is central.Lots of nice country roads and farmlands.
If you're down this way, don't pass up a ride along the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton,Hog magazine voted it the top motorcycle ride in the continent(voted by riders)Between the Cabot Trail and the Bras d'or lakes scenic drive,There's lots of nice scenery(better than PEI in my opinion).
