looking for physical maps......so many places i look at my phone in out of the way roads and no service
I just downloaded CoPilot app for the droid. It stores the maps on the phone, doesn't rely on gps for position. Havent used it yet but plan on using it for trip to Laconia this year.
I use a Rand McNally truckers laminated atlas, i know thats old school.
Maps in general are old school and I'm old school....there's something about a bike and a GPS that seems a contradiction. I know how handy they can be for certain things....just sayin'
I have the Harley Ride Atlas of North America 2nd edition by Rand Mcnally. best book I own has all the best scenic roads highlighted and a bunch of the best rides in the country laid out with pics. and info about them. Every state also has good maps with all HD dealership marked on it.

Ihave one I picked up at a garage sale one time..BTY I saw that same atlas book on ebay last fall for $200.00, as these appear to be long out of print & some are collecting those...JFI
