Motorcycle parking in the Florida Keys "Secure?"
#11
Nice place. May wish to carry a little flashlight for the walk home at night since that area is a little dark at night since it is not a heavy bar and club area.
No need to move the bikes or cars in that area since you have CVS, dennys, walgreens and all of Duval nearby.

Hi Fathertime500!
I refresh this your old post now since I'm organizing my Florida tour in November... so I’m asking you some suggestions about.
Where did you park your motorbike during the nighttime? Did you find place into a garage or left aside in the street? Is it secure?
Many thanks
Marco

Consider choosing a place that has parking if staying overnight.
If visiting for the day then pay for parking.
Parking is limited but available.
Most parking will require a walk.
A garage is easier than a meter since the meters are checked routinely by patrol.
I would suggest a cheap $25-$30 cover if tourist sitting on your bike to take a picture bothers you.

November isn't tourist season yet. Plenty of parking, till January 1, then it's a rat race for parking. Plenty of cops, bike will be safe in the street. If you have new stiff boots, you might want to change into something more comfortable. Older boots are good, your not going to be walking miles. You can, but it's rare when someone does.
If I were you, I'd be more concerned with the sun. When it's out, you'll turn red in 20 minutes unless you have sunscreen on. Deaden the pain with plenty of drinks, and you'll be fine. Stay hydrated, drink water too! Let you hair down and have fun
