Giving it some thought, if I was you and was going to pay to park in the Denver area, I would consider the airport east of Denver. Easy in and out. Denver is a tough town to get around in because of traffic.

Good point....Denver is a nice town but a PITA on a motorcycle. I'd take above idea a step further and recommend Limon, CO, east of Denver on the 70. Google for a storage facility there and I'll bet you can find a very reasonable place where you can leave your rig in a locked lot. Also, from there you'd be able to head to the good parts of CO without going through Denver. You folks are in for a great trip.

A couple of years ago I trailered to FLA in the winter time to take the RLAP class. Parked the truck and trailer at a Self Storage facility in Gainesville. It was my sons truck and my trailer so the $80.00 bucks for 1 months rent was fine with me.

We stayed out and traveled by bike for 10 days all over North and Central FLA and then went and picked up the truck and trailer. Broke down to about $8.00 a night and I did not worry about anything happening to them. They were inside a chain linked fence with razor wire. Worked for me.

Thanks for all the great ideas, wasnt interested in seeing Denver, it was just a central location on a map to all the places I wanted to see. Never thought of a storage lot but I will definately look into that.

Zion HD in Washington, UT (right by the entrance to Zion NP) has a huge p-lot for folks to leave their trucks/trailers in for free.

I agree, self storage or a camp site would love your money. Zoin is a great dealer, out there 2 years ago and my stater went out while i was at Zion NP, maid it to the dealer by 4pm, mechanic stayed a little later to get my bike fixed.

I will be parking my truck and trailer at a self storage in AZ for 3 weeks for Bike Week.
