I'll make this my last one as I am sure there are many out there wishing I would just drop it![8D]

I just got back from Deal's Gap last weekend. We didn't have time to ride Blueridge Parkway but did do the Cherohala Skyway. It was so beautiful I am now considering moving to North Carolina.

Glad you had a good time. The pictures are beautiful!

Next time you need to make time because the dragon is fun but you can't really enjoy the scenery but you can on the skyway

Let me tell about my screw up! I deleted all my pictures from my digital disc before I also made lower resolution copies....and to this date I am having a heck of a time figuring out this new Adobe Photoshop software so I can attempt to make my pictures smaller for web based applications! I'll keep on trying!

Take Care and Ride Safe!!

[IMG]local://upfiles/2146/6BA375A7AB64445BBB4570847F1B15D9.jpg[/IMG]
I use paint to resize my pictures,

Right click on the picture, select open with, select paint, when the pic opens in paint select Image, select stretch/skew, if your original picture is 1024, to resize to 600 use this calculation. 600 divided by 1024 eqauls 58. Under horizontal and vertical enter 58. select ok.

If you want to resize your original, select file, select save as, select save, a warning will pop up saying the picture already exist and do you want to replace, select yes.

If you want to save the original just replace the file name.

I upload my pictures to http://www.imageshack.us/ and use them as a host, they will provide you with a url for the use in forums. This saves disk space on the server of this forum. Use the image tags to display the picture.

I added *'s to the script to use as an example and below is the result of your picture resized to 615 X 461,

I was in Asheville the first of the month and rode the PKWY, here are our group pics, click on the picture;
