Default Need info on BRP near Grandfather mountain

Need Local info on BRP near Grandfather mountain and Curtis Creek road.

Does Curtis Creek road go all the way to the BRP? Is it chained or open access? OR do I need to go back down the mountain and hang a left to go to highway 80 then back up to the BRP? Is Curtis Creek road a dirt road? Rough?

I'm planning a weeklong trip and want to stay at Curtis Creek campground.
Is the dispersed campsites very primitive? how are the roads to those campsites. I have a narrow front tire on my sporty, should I avoid the dispersed area and stay at the paved area? I do have good low speed manuevering ability...
So many questions....any info you can give would be appreciated!
