Looks like its already over. I just read on mountainfests Facebook page that all the events with the antique bikes isn't happening this year. Allegedlly the guy who always organized that stuff has quit.
There's also several people on that page bitching about how the coal bucket saloon has been moved away from the campground.

This is the first I've heard of this, darn.
For those that are not aware Triple S is relocating to I-79 exit 155 right there where you get off to go to Mylan Park. They have 50 acres and will be selling out-parcels to appropriate business that will compliment their dealership. They will also have a stage and LOT'S more room.

The direct way via motorcycle road (instead of Interstate) would be just south of Washington PA to take Rt 19 south through Waynesburg and Mt Morris, to Morgantown. It's actually a pretty nice road.

I'm thinking about making this trip also. Think I'll have about 10 days. Got to do some shopping for a reasonable place to stay not to far from everything, don't like to drink and ride, but I do love beer. I'm gonna follow this thread. Looks like I'll be riding by myself, wife had back sergury so I don't think she will be getting back on the bike. Does some one know of a place to stay?

Bump
Definitly good advice. Should beat some of the traffic depending on when you travel it.

Hi Doug --- Back in Oct or Nov, on the way to Pgh, I had to check out a new account prospect in the southern part of the state. Took 99/220 down to Cumberland & across 68 for a few miles. Hadn't been down that way for awhile, and I'd forgotten how nice it is down there. Beautiful country, and less traffic than 15 from Williamsport to here, when you came up last summer. Not sure if your question was on "how to get there," but from G'sburg, I'd definitely get over to 70 & then take 68 to Morgantown. Maybe 30 to Bedford & then down to Cumberland. You won't be disappointed in 68. For an interstate, as I said, 68 didn't have much traffic at all, and it would be a great ride. I'm definitely doing 68 this year.
