Utah best rides
Highway 12 from Torrey to Panguitch (including a stop at Bryce Canyon)
Round trip starting in Provo, heading up Provo Canyon, Mirror Lake Highway to Evanston, 89 to Woodruff, over Monte Cristo to Huntsville (lunch at shooting star), south to Morgan, east canyon, through Park City and back down Provo Canyon.
Highway 89 from Spanish Fork Canyon to Kanab
Highway 9 from Mt. Carmel Jct. through Zion National Park and back.
The Energy Loop (Huntington & Eccles Canyons)
It's remote. It's out of the way and hard to get to. But it's totally worth it once you get there. My favorite ride incorporating the Energy Loop is this:
I-80 east from SLC to US-40 East to Duchesne, UT. Next, take US-191 south (Indian Canyon) to Helper, UT. US-6 to Price and UT-10 to Huntington, UT. This is where the Energy Loop begins. Climb up Huntington Canyon on UT-31. At the top, hang a right on UT-264 (Eccles Canyon). After passing the gigantic coal mine, merge left on UT-96 toward Scofield, UT. Hwy 96 runs to Colton, UT and intersects US-6 in Spanish Fork Canyon. West on US-6 to Spanish Fork and north on I-15 to SLC.
This ride includes mountain passes (5), alpine lakes and meadows, great curves/riding and minimal traffic once off the interstates. Also, there are plenty of places to camp, fish, sightsee and hike along the way.

Washington best rides
HWY 20 Norh Cascade HWY ,
HWY 410 Chinook Pass ,
HWY 101
The North Cascade loop start in Everett WA take HWY 2 over Stevens Pass to Wenatchee then 97 north through Chelan then HWY 20 to Winthrop which is a good place to spend a night .Then North Cascade HWY 20 west to Mt Vernon. That ride could be done in a day but overnight trip is better to see the sights.
Another ride is a three pass ride take HWY 2 Stevens Pass east to Blewett Pass HWY 97 South to Ellensburg. Then take HWY 821 the Yakima river Canyon road to Yakima then HWY 12 west there you can take HWY 12 over White Pass or my favorite is get off HWY 12 near Naches and take HWY 410 west over Chinook Pass it brings you into Mt Rainer NP .It also can be done in a day but its better if you can spend night somewhere .Whistling Jacks on Chinook pass HWY is good place to stay or have a meal.
