medora then through Theodore Roosevelt national park
hiway 2 is known as the hi line almost dead stright but some nice scenery and beats the heck out of I-94
not a ride but in Cooperstown is the underground ballistic missile historical site. in the middle of nowhere but really worth a look.

Oregon best rides
For mt. scenery - Hwy 242 out of Sisters, OR.
River scenery - Hwy 138 from Roseburg to Diamond Lake / Crater Lake area
Curves - Hwy 38 from Philomath to Waldport
Ocean scenery - Hwy 101 going southbound from Astoria to Brookings
Great ride area - Any road near John Day

Rhode island best rides
Out of Providence head south on 95 to Rt 4 to Rt 1 south. Get off in Narragansett and take the road to Point Judith. Head over to the docks and enjoy a lobster while checking out the fishing boats heading out to sea. From here follow ocean drive to Narragansett Beach and have a beer at the Coast Guard House which overlooks the ocean and the entrance to Narragansett Bay. Leaving here on 1A to Rt 138 and go over the Jamestown Bridge and make the loop of this beautiful island stopping at Beavertail Lighthouse. Follow the ocean rd back to 138 and then take the Newport Bridge into historic and beautiful Newport.
