Gunna go the week before ralley and would like to know what is a good cheap room for a week in or around Sturgis, Gunna do more site see'n this time.. Thanks..

 

unless you want to pay out the *** I would recommend staying 100-200 miles from Sturgis. if you just want to do sight seeing first. I am in Gillette 100 miles from Sturgis. I feel spoiled I stay a few nights, go home then back to Sturgis. hell sometimes I just ride over during the day.

So about how much is does it cost for a room?

I was wanting to go out that same week this next year. Just want an idea of about how much to budget for.

 

I stayed at Ellsworth AFB, for $39.00 per nite, one bedroom apt. nice, but you have to be retired military!

 

week before, vendors are setting up, and often book rooms right through.

You'd have to be a couple weeks before or after to get by reasonably.

The riding a scenery is fantastic- the rally doesn't do much for mGotta do it once, though.

Motel 6 Rapid City the week of the rally runs around 125.00, that ain't bad.

 

I think it is around $300 a night, probably cheaper if you book early, if you wait to long you won't get any place at any price. I never go around that place during the rally. Before or after never during.

 

i stay at my brothers house in spearfish ..........good place and free for me .
