You pull a pop-up? I have a single-wheel Uni-go trailer for my camping gear.

I have two trailers: A Lil-Bunkhouse, and a HF tag along, but I am not sure that I want to pull any of them in this trip.
My plan is pack all the camping gears on my bike, but thing can be changed. My bunkhouse is always ready, and it has an A/c, too.

Sounds like a sweet set-up. I used my Uni-Go last year on a trip to Laconia and then to the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec and carried two 4-man tents, a one burner stove, coffee pot, two thermarest sleeping mats, two sleeping bags, lantern and assorted other convenience stuff. Still had room for more gear. In Lake George I just wheeled it into the hotel room like a large rolling tour pack. It leans with the motorcycle and follows in the path of the rear wheel. I am not taking it on the Route 66 trip as the plan is to stay at traditional Route 66 establishments, but it will be right behind me on my future trip to Alaska.

Hmm! That's what I have been thinking about to many years.

Thanks Doublerunner. Send me a PM with your email address and I will send you my itinerary which should give you some ideas for when you and the wife plan your own trip. I purchases a few different DVDs which assisted me in the planning process. Purchased and practiced with a GOPRO Hero 2 helmet cam this past weekend. I should have some video to go along with the pics on this trip.
Registering temps over 100 in the Mojave already!!!
Jackhis - Have a safe trip!
10 days to departure.
