2 gallons at a time is tough stuff, I am looking at the same deal soon. Just bought a 2003 sporty and need to pick up in Laerdo and bring back to Torreon Mexico. I worry that gas could be an issue for me. For you however, if your not insterstate, no worries. Enjoy the ride. Check fluids and the regualr pre and post ride stuff and have a great time. Congrats on the granchild!!

Well, Im sitting here in a hotel somewhere in Mississippi. Got a late start this morning because it was raining and 43...... wasn't going to do that I layered like a **** thinking as the day progressed Id peel a layer off and put them in my packs........never happened. The only thing I took off about mid day was my face mask. Ive learned something, ear buds dont work well with a face mask, it wanted to push them in so far Id swear they were meeting in the center Im using my android phone for gps, avoiding highways. It took me on some of the most back woods roads through GA and AL, must have taken 50 turns. Never would have been able to do it with a paper map. There were a suprising number of twisty roads, very cool ride.
The case is this one. I put my EVO (phone) in it. Hooked up a charger to available wires under the seat. One thing that sucks is when I want to stop and take a pic its kind of a PIA to take it out, disconnect it, take a pic, hook it up, put it back in. Next time Ill bring a separate camera.
