Default Dragon & Skyway ride

The wife & I left home around 11:00 yesterday morning, stopped for breakfast, rode across
the Dragon, then across the Cherohala Skyway. We stopped for supper in Tellico Plains, then home by 8:00.Only 251 mis. for the day,not a long day by any standards, but a beautiful
day & a great ride with good friends. For all you people who don't live close to east TN,
man are you missing it.Too bad.

That is where we will retire.......in 15 years. Either there or Ashville.

We will be heading up to Wears Valley on Friday, can't wait, spending 7 days up there. Was planning to ride the bike up there, but a 20 year old in a car who couldn't see a 800 lb. motorcycle in front of him at a 4 way stop sign, change that, bike in shop, me and my knee in therapy, maybe next year. Sorry for the rant, we are still going to have a good time.

Great place to ride! Was fortunate to spend the better part of a week there earlier this year.

Go ahead, rub it in. I did that a few weeks ago, but I had to ride over 600 miles to get there. I WISH I lived in the area.
