Default Road Trip: 3811 Miles to Grand Canyon and back

My lady and I had a great 10 day trip to the Grand Canyon/Prescott AZ area, and back to our home in SW Mn.

The state of the economy was very apparent on our trip. Motels and restaurants closed all over, no lines anyplace except at Seven Falls in Colorado Springs. The link above are pictures of our trip.

Beautiful country isn't it? I just finished a ride through all the Utah canyons and down to Grand Canyon before finishing up in Vegas for a work conference. Amazing trip. Hehe, a lot of your pics look familiar!

Hi, sorry I missed your post from a couple of months ago ! What part of Mn were you from? We're at Marshall, and plan on moving to Prescott, AZ, in a year or so.

Colorado Springs is a beautiful area. That's where I thought we were when we ended up staying at Monument. I saw the sign "Monument" and I thought it meant Pikes Peak!

Looks like a great trip! We may have waved at each other as we were in some of those areas around that time.

Thanks for sharing!
