That used to be an excursion train out of Kane, and the train would stop to let people out, if they didn't want to ride across the bridge. My in-laws have been on it.
I"ll get the dam next time, and that probably wont be too long after my girlfriend saw all the pictures of the Kinzua bridge, I read all the info there at the park about the tornado etc. That place was a pleasant surprise, I guess it was the highest railroad bridge in the world back when it was originally built.

I'm right outside of Fairmont, I'm not sure where Grey's flat is though, I know Grey's run and Flats run (Both on RT250 just north of Fairmont) When I first started riding I really took for granted how lucky we are here when it comes to motorcycle roads, we have a lot of good ones and overall most of them are well taken care of.

(My wife's family is from Grey's Flat so I've done some riding around Fairmont years ago. You've got some pretty great roads right out your back door too!)

If you're willing to go east as well, riding up PA Rt 233 through the Mont Alto, Caledonia, and Pine Grove Furnace State Parks is really cool. Then since you're in the area, a quick run through Gettysburg (with a stop at the biker friendly Pike Restaurant) is something most people really enjoy.

Yeah Grant Town I know, used to live there for a few years. I live in Rivesville now about 5 miles from Grant Town on RT 19 along the Mon river.

Thanks
