The CASS looks like fun but I won't have a lot of time to stop and enjoy. Lots of miles to cover and limited time unfortunately.
I haven't had time to look at all the route recommendation but I will sometime this week.

Stop at the New River Gorge Bridge:
It is in Fayetteville, WV.
Route 60 South from the intersection of rt 19 all the way down to Rainelle is a very scenic ride. We just did that ride last week.
RIDE ON..............

If you get to Fayetteville, eat at Dirty Ernie's Rib Pit just off 19.

Lots of great suggestions. I wish I had more time to explore.
Thanks

Maybe you run this route a lot already but I'd take Rt. 15 south to Rt. 340. It takes you down through Harpers Ferry and then to Front Royal which is where the Skyline Drive starts. Rt. 340 is a nice two lane road that parallels the mountain. You can run it or the Blue Ridge Parkway all the way to Waynesboro.
Rt. 220 South is good road with rolling hills and small twisties but like someone already said, you'd have to run west on rt. 30 to Bedford or rt. 68 to Cumberland and then south.
