Thanks for all the replies. I just wanted to make sure there were no problems. I heard that people had problems around the Bryson area.......FT

My Garmin 1450 worked great in June. Sometimes, it was a little slow at tracking, but I dunno what that could have been.

As long as your GPS works in this:



you should be fine.



If you squint just right, you can see my brother up there ahead.

I have the older road tech conquest. Buy the latest model out there and for motorcycles.
They are waterproof and shock proof within reason. keep it updated. Mine cost about $800 bucks when I bought it in 2006 from Harley. I know I paid more for the harley name. Mine is mounted to my fairing and I remove it and set my course and then put it back on the bike.
The main problem I have is trusting it. A few times I just could not believe the GPS was right in it's instructions. I should have listened. Just trust it for the most part and have fun.
