My GF and I just completed a trip to Door County in Wisconsin this past weekend. Door county is Wisconsin's thumb that separates the Green Bay from Lake Michigan. It was a great trip! Lot's of great food and shopping in Door County as well as terrific scenery!

The BBQ place is Casey's BBQ and Smokehouse in Egg Harbor. It was excellent! I typically judge a BBQ place by their brisket, and Casey's brisket rocks!

 

Great pics, thx for sharing. I love Door County too, and we have always camped at Peninsula State Park. I want to hotel it next time...where did you stay and what did you think of it?

 

We had free lodging at the Sister Bay Yacht Club courtesy of a freind, so I'm not sure what it might cost. It's a really nice place just off the main park in Sister Bay, close to the swim pier and all the toy rentals places. We had a three bedroom condo that could easily sleep a large family. It was quite nice. The condos in the Sister Bay Yacht Club are for rent when the owner isn't using them, but they fill up pretty quickly over the summer.

 

hit any dealerships on the way?

 

We visited Stock Harley Davidson in Manitowoc on the way up. I realized I had forgotten some bug cleaner and wanted to pick some up. I always try to at least get the worst of the bugs off the bike every morning while my GF is finishing getting ready. Stock was a pretty cool place, with a bunch of old motorcycles hanging from a track on the ceiling and revolving around the showroom. Quite a few bikes to look at, and they had the new Enfield bikes, too.
