Default Our Northern PA Weekend

Me and the wife pulled out of Lock Haven on Sunday morning and headed west on Rt. 120 to St. Marys then took 255 to 219 to 321 to 59 and stopped at Docksiders at Kinzua Marina for lunch. From there west on 59 to check out the Kinzua Dam then to pick up Rt. 6 to travel east stopping at the Kinzua Bridge and then to Wellsboro to spend the night. Next morning after breakfast at the Wellsboro Diner, it was on to the Grand Canyon then west on Rt. 6 to 144 to 44 and back thru Lock Haven and over to State College for lunch at Otto's Brewing Company.

Nice route. 120 is 1 of the nicest rides in the state, IMO. I was at Kinzua Bridge yesterday. 6 bikes & 11 people. Probably around 330 or 4. We were in NY State. Rode down 219 from Bradford & went in from 59. Headed back on 6 east. All of us are from Wellsboro.

+1 on Rt 120. A couple years back finally took a trip on Rt 6 across Pa from east to west as I had been hearing so much about it. No offense to Geezr and others that live up that way but I was just not impressed as we got out to the Allegheny Forest. The original plan was to take Rt 6 back but we ditched that and because I had heard some mentions of Rt 120 on this forum decided to give it a try. Well we fell in love with it and highly recommend it.
Thanks for the additional routes to try up there as we will probably be making another swing up that way in a couple of weeks. Safe riding!

Hey Chad, a group of us from G-burg & Emiittsburg are doing the same trip next month....Sounds like a great ride.....How was lunch at Docksiders? do they serve breakfast? That Brewing company sounds good too....Have you tried the ABC in G-burg? Of course you have.....Good food too.....Best,Doug
