Planning a ride in October up to Tennessee, thinking of riding US Hwy 11 from Hattisburg Ms. on up insteat of the interstate. How is the road conditions, or would this be a mistake. Thanks

 

I think it would be a good ride and kind of like Route 66. I've ridden hwy 11 from Knoxville to almost Chattanooga and while it is a neat ride, it is slow progress. It looks like it shadows I-59 so if you get tired of riding the 2 lane you can always jump on I-59.
