Default traveled part of the ol route 66 in AZ. PIC HEAVY

well ive been lurjing around here for about a month after buying my first harley. picked up a 2011 XL1200N (nightster) and have been loving it since day one. niow this may not "road trip" worthy, but it was a soild 500 mile run my buddy and i did the other day.

wont get to into the details as the pics do most of teh talking but long story short; left from mesa AZ at 4am. went trough prescot valley to seligamn, then hit the route 66 to kingman. finally hit wickenburg then the last stretch home at about 5pm.

heres the pics from start to finish. enjoy

let me state one thing before hand though, i HATE the look of the winshield on my bike! i only put it on for the trip and it was nice to get the wind off te chest but the buffeting totaly killed it.

anyways, heres prescot valley

next stop was seligman AZ

now we didnt stop in the actual town of seligman for very long and i really regret it. got a pic by thr roadkill ccafe though

next stop was at Grand Canyon Caverns. spent a good amout of time here, had a buger and a brew then hit the road again. more pics:

all in all i had a last and will definitely like to do it again and do some more sight seeing. we didnt go down into the caverns which i also regret but they arent going anywhere soon

i would definitely like a bigger bike for trips like these although suprisingly after 500 miles on the lil sporty i didnt feel to bad lol more to come as im looking forward to riding alot more and sharing with you all as well! feel free to comment/critiize/bs as you please lol

thanks
