Ive been to Laconia a few times, and it's kinda old news to me now. I wanted to plan a good route to get up there for the 17th and 18th... but I wanted to delay my route and stop and spend a night or 2 somewhere off route to take in possibly what i missed in the years before just shooting straight up to Laconia. My start point is southeastern Connecticut and I wanted to stray off to Maine or somewhere in New Hampshire. Does anyone have a recommendation on what destination I should stray off to for a night? I heard about Bentley's campground maybe hitting there.. any where else is a good stop in Mass or southern Maine or NH?
