Well, since me and the wife are running slightly low on funds it seems this summer's trip home will include me riding the RK home to Georgia instead of renting/buying a trailer like we planned. I'm pretty excited cause 1) I really like long distance riding and 2) once we get there we have a ride planned with Me, My dad, My father in law, my two best friends and my best friend's dad. Been waiting on that ride to happen for about 5 years. We live in North Ga so we plan on making a long day ride out of it.

Do you know the route yet? Lots of good road in the area. Route I like is; 411 north to Etowah Turn on Mecca Pike towards Tellico Plains TN. Turn left just past Hardee's Resturant. Follow Cherohala to intersection at Joyce Kilmer National Forest. If you have time take a walk in the Forest there. There are trees there it takes 3 or 4 people to reach around. Great site to see. Follow that road about 6 miles then turn left and ride The Dragon. Or turn right and ride Hwy 28 toward Fontana Dam. Then on toward Nantahala Gorge. Turn right to come through gorge or turn left and go to Cherokee NC.
