Is that first picture one of "whiteside" taken from "horse cove"??? IIRC the Chatooga is somewhere near there and "horse cove" is somewhere near Franklin or Highlands...!!!

Nope that is Table Rock, taken from the side of Hwy 11, shooting across the little lake. Table Rock State Park. 1st post
2nd post-first pic is Lake Jocasse, from 130.

 

Wow... Table Rock State Park!!!

Cabins a few years ago were about 50 bucks a night! Nice little CCC log cabins with screened front porch and big stone fireplace with small kitchen. Really nice!

Have some GREAT memories from that trip!!!
