Green Bay Wis to Branson, MO
Looking for suggestions for best route, most scenic and great places to see along the way. Will be leaving GB the end of July, for a 1 week road trip

Looking at the map I would consider 54 to 22 to 21 to 131 south from Tomah to 60w to 35S, stop in Dickeyville at the Grotto, head down to Galena, and follow the great River Road to Hanibal, MO. HWY 79 south of Hanibal to Louisiana MO (nice section). 54 from Louisiana to 65 south into Branson

Plan on letting mommy shop a day in Galena!!!
After Galena stop at Poopy's in in Savanna, IL

Not much shopping for the wife in Hanibal but it sure is pretty country.

I ride to Branson every June from Kansas. Lots of good riding out that way, you won't be disappointed.

The Mark Twain National Forest is awesome. Almost feels like Tennessee. Great twisties and little towns.

Lamberts cafe
Just north of Branson off of 65 is a restaurant not to be missed. Lamberts cafe is an experience and you will definately not go away hungry. Have fun!

I second that! Put your hand up for a roll and they'll throw it at ya. Lots of food for a reasonable price.
