Sorry OT but the wife just got next weekend off and we want to ride down to Key West. The place we always stay at is sold out.... any ideas for a good, clean, bike safe and friendly place that is not going to break the bank ???

the inn at key west...beautiful private parking around back..great pool rooms and bar/restaurant

 

Last year when I went with my sons, we stayed at the last motel before the Keys. It was a Holiday Inn Express at the last little town below Miami.

We then rode the next morning to Key West and back by evening to stay there again. It was much less expensive than in the Keys.

 

Two years ago I stayed at a hotel that the rooms on the back side of the hotel were all remodeled but the front ones were not. It has changed names since then but it was reasonable. As soon as you get onto the island stay right on Roosevelt then the hotel is immediately on the left. I believe there was a self serve car wash next door to it. The rear lot was private and I felt very comfortable parking my bike there
