Don't forget, one minute you will be trying to stay hydrated with cool water and the next you'll be drinking your favorite hot beverage just trying to stay warm. Be prepared for both high and low temps, rain.

Everything the others have said is absolutley right on point. Last time i was there it was 105 degrees in Wall. The best advice I ever received I ever got when I road to Sturgis from a very seasoned biker was" prepare for the hotest day, the coldest day and wetest day" He was ablosulety right. But if you have some kind of internet connection with Dopler radar you can sometimes avoid the rain. Sometimes.
