Going. I go every year. Stay for free and spend my money at places that want my money. Myrtle beach hates everybody, not just bikers. The latest thing is that there trying to ban the umbrella's on the beach. The local senior citizens think they make the beach look bad.

 

I went 2 years ago. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. 3K in legal fees and plenty more cash for the MB community....I would strongly recommend not going into MB nor spending the $ there. Had I stayed where bikers are welcome down there it would have been a great vacation...I have no gripe with the law down there, they do what they have to do and are very respectful. Unfortunatley, the Mayor and select others do not want us there.

 

Myrtle Beach Bike Week should now be called Murrells Inlet Bike Week!
Also if I were the owner of MB Harley Davidson I would seriously consider a name change. I live in the area and will party and have a great time in Murrells Inlet (SBB, Beaver Bar, and now Captain Poo's South) It's also a nice ride up 31 to the north end. The biggest disapointment are the lack of vendors now.

 

I agree with ejm0504. I plan to stay in North Myrtle go to the vendors up there and party in Murrells Inlet. There are a lot fewer vendors than there used to be, but a week at the beach is a week at the beach. Cheers!

 

Been going for 6 years running. Usually trailer down, but this year I'm 2 wheelin it solo from NH!

 

Heading down the 14th to 22nd. Looking forward to just getting away.
