Near Helen, Georgia is a campground called Creekwood Resort. Robert and Melissa are the owners. They are fantastic! Lots of good riding in that area but you are a little ways from the South Carolina line. Also look into the Franklin, TN area. Close to North Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Hope this helps.

Petersburg campground on the georgia side of lake thrumond or modoc on the SC side are great places. lots of back roads to ride. I live in SC. All the small towns and back roads you could hope for, mountains to beaches. All the big lakes Thurmond, Murrey, Moultrie and Marrion have camp grounds. Look at Hunting Island and the Charleston area too.

Really not that far from S C line being in Helen. Great riding over to Clayton (lake Burton) then to Franklin, Highlands, Cashiers,Hayesville, Murphy, Andrews all in NC. Near that is Hiawassee,Suches,Dahlonega, Amacola falls, all in Ga. Lots of good riding in those just make a loop of it in different days.

Ride safe
