The best riding in the whole state is north of Interstate 80. In particular Rt 120 & Rt 6. I live in Wellsboro (right on 6) & have been on these roads many times. You can do your own Mapquest & get back to me with any other questions, but here are some must-see things while you kill a few extra days. Get up to 120 around Lock Haven & go 120 west & then up to 6 & go east to head home.
---About 25 miles from Lock Haven, on 120, look for small brown signs & go up to Hyner View State Park. You might be able to watch some hang-gliding up there. Then, back down to 120 west.
---From 120, take 555 to Benezette PA. Largest population of free-roaming elk, east of CO. You might be able to watch them just roaming around town while you're having burgers on the deck of the Benezette Hotel. 555's a nice ride. You can take it back to 120 west.
---219 north & 6 west, a few miles, over to 321 north to the Kinzua Dam area.
---59 east from the dam & stop at Kinzua Bridge State Park.
---59 runs back into 6. Stop at the PA Grand Canyon. Right on 6 over near Wellsboro.
---Wellsboro's a beautiful little town. Great place to stay overnight & just walk around town in the evening like alot of bikers do. Go out for dinner, grab an ice cream cone, etc. It's busy. Better have a motel reservation.
---From Wellsboro, go to Letchworth State Park, up in NY. You won't be disappointed.
---From Letchworth, you can work your way to Watertown NY & across 3 toward Lake Placid & take the ferry across Lake Champlain. These are all great rides. You'll love it.
