ADA access in Sturgis?
Hey all.
Am planning on Sturgis for 2011. Will be traveling with my buddy who is a paraplegic. He rides a Road King with side car. He's a knarley SOB and never says can't, but I'm looking for info on handicap access in and around Sturgis.
He carrys his wheelchair in the side car and we usually camp, but its tough if he can roll around without a lot of obsticals.
I'm not expecting its going to be easy, just want to know if its dooable.

I can honestly say that it did not look to be very ADA friendly in the Sturgis area. While the buildings downtown were ADA accessible, there were obstacles every where (if not actual items just a ton of people not paying any attention to where they were going).
If you friend rides a bike with a sidecar, I am sure he will manage just fine. Have fun and enjoy the rides.
