Bring on Daytona!!! Unfortunately leaving the bike at home, but I'm up for a spring vacation at any rate. Possibly will rent one out there, otherwise, just going to soak it all up!

 

Riding from SE Ohio. Not worried about the weather. We just took our first trip this fall and left Ohio in November 38D and Rain. Once we hit the smokeys, it was perfect the entire trip until we hit Ohio again. (Welcome Home)

Question, Does lodging fill up? Will it be an issue? I have a meeting in Orlando the 5-8 and will have a Condo. Am I better off keeping that for the week?

 

Bike Week is a real hoot. If you have never been you are in for a real treat! One day is NOT enough. You'll see!

 

My dad moved down to Daytona Beach a few years ago and I went to go check it out last year for the first time. I definately had a great time and am looking forward to going this year and actually having a Harley to ride. I would say that you could do anything you wanted down there, and then some. My uncle and his friend stay at my dad's also and we were busy every day. We are all into racing so we got to check out a lot of cool stuff. I saw Coolbeth race on an old dirt oval outside of town, my uncle went to the races at the superspeedway and I saw the inaugural events at the new Daytona Flat Track. There's plenty of beer, *****, and cruisin main street, but you can do other stuff too. I may be a noob, but I saw if you've never gone, you should at least check it out. Fun and interesting.

 

its cold here this year and last year it was really cold all through out. check weather during tripp to make sure what you pack.

I am heading down, still trying to decide if leaving around the 6th or later in the week.Reservation is from the 9th to the 13th.But as the time gets closer don't know if i will be able to wait.

 

we are going to leave on the 5th of march and take make it a easy ride stopping when we get tired. I'm off from work for 9 days so i'm going to relax lol beside i'm an old man lol

 

was going to go but friends backed out now woman doesnt want me to go alone because of all the distractions you know! oh well guess I should not upset her or should I go anyway? give me your input. Longing to ride in NC need to get out of here for awhile. Anyone want a ride partner and party bud? Especially any hot babes want a ride buddy? Let me know.
