Sorry to hear.

It was about 70 today and I was able to ride to run errands. I'm sure it's going to turn cold soon. In the short time I've owned the bike I did ride in some 30(ish) weather in the morning but it was only a short distance - Burrrr.

Hitchin Post on route 58 has some good food and some really good homemade pies and cakes. Hawaiian cheese cake anyone?

We did around 200 miles on some nice twisty curves and then got back in time for the Colts game. Forecast calls for the next few weeks to have highs in the 30s and 40s (don't see any warm weather in the long term forecast) so I put the Sta-Bil in the tank and filled it right before reaching home. Hooked the battery tender up. Tomorrow I wipe her down and put the cover on for the winter. How sad!
I know how you feel. Took my last ride on Sunday. It was sunny but only 26F. I was dressed for it but still cold for more than 10min at 70mph but fine at lower speeds. Makes me wanna buy some heated gear.

Well, the wife took her last ride with me for the season last weekend. We rode along the Maumee River here in northern Ohio out to Napoleon HD. We got in about 120 miles round trip with the temp starting off at 42 and only getting to 48. That was enough for her, she said no more this year. I still have been riding back and forth to work when no rain or snow is forecasted. Last thursday morning was 24 when I left work in Toledo and 21 here at home. I will not give it up yet, going to have to be snow on the roads for that.
