Thanks for the post...I was supposed to be making a trip through some of those same areas this week but I just accepted a new job so I've been lucky/unlucky enough to be finishing out my 2 week notice...definitely not complaining in this economy to have had this opportunity; At least your post reaffirmed what I was missing lol

Awesome photos. Glad you had a great time. I think this is some of the prettiest scenery on the east coast.

I still have not completed the entire BRP. I usually get sidetracked and run out of time to finish. One of these years I am going to take a week or two off and do the whole trip.

Awesome pictures. I plan on riding there next summer as part of my sea to shing sea ride. I would love to ride that in the fall but crossing the rockies on a bike this time of the year can be unwise. Oregon just does not get the colors like that in the fall. We definitely get the rain though.

Thanks for the pics they were really great. Seeing them just gets the juices flowing to go back. The Skyline Drive/BRP has to be some of the best riding on the east coast. 500 miles of great mountain roads, no commercial vehicles, no lights and excellent road conditions, you can't ask for anything more. Oh yes you can, some of the best views of God's creation to boot. This has become an annual "must" ride for me and your pics show why! thanks again.

You would make the world a better place to live if you picked a couple of the nicest pictures having a certain "flavor" and posted them in the America the Beautiful thread in the Showdown forum. Great shots and welcome relief from Houston freeways. John

Great pics, thanks for sharing!

Did I mention I love living in this part of the Country? The BRP is virtually in my backyard.
