Nice and clean Mom & Pops place. They have a fire pit around back for drinking beer and telling lies!

Meadowlark Motel 2878 Soco Rd. Maggie Valley Restaurant next door to the right and little bar with live music to the left side. Wheels thru Time museum across the creek behind the motel. Biker friendly. Nothing fancy. Several of the HOG members from my chapter stay there and recommend it. Cleaning cloths for bikes, short distance to convenience store & gas.

Where To Stay In Maggie Valley
My wife and I just got back from Maggie Valley this past Sunday. Jonathan Creek Inn gets our vote also. We've been staying there at least 14 or 15 years and we've always had a pleasant stay. The current owners have had it since 1996 and you can't beat their hospitality. As someone else said, there's always old towels there and a hose to wash your bike and they do their best to make your stay great. The rooms are always spotless and well kept. I think you'll love sitting out by the creek also. Give them a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Joey's Pancake House directly across the street, closed on Thursdays, and the current restaurant next door is called Hurley's. Have a safe ride.

As you can see there are several places in Maggie Valley to stay. Where you stay may be determined on how much you want to spend. Abbey Inn is nice and inexpensive. If you want more up scale pick Jonathan Creek. The Holiday Motel is popular and not expensive. Here's a reference.

When we have stayed there we stayed a week and had one or two couples with us, so we rented a house or cabin. If you can split the cost of a 2 or 3 bedroom rental and stay about a week, you can get a place that is as cheap as the less expensive motels and have much more comfort and room. We also saved money by eating in some of the time. They supply all the cooking gear and dishes.

Been to Maggie Valley five times as recently as last week. When you shop for price, you might want to determine what breakfast is offered. The Comfort Inn is five star for friendliness, cleanliness, biker friendly and a great breakfast with a pretty large eating area. We've left the truck and trailer in the parking lot and come back three or four days later with their blessing. well lit too and an indoor swimming pool if that interests you. A sports bar, the Hardtail bar, and the favorite - Salty Dog (great food, don't let the exterior fool you.) When we came back last Friday it was full with a couple of busloads of seniors so we had to stay down the street for money and no breakfast. You may want to make reservations asap since a ton of people come there for the leaves change. have a great time and stay safe.
