I just returned from the same route yesterday. You did a great job documenting your travels.

Default Awesome photos there!

Looks like you had a great time, with wonderful weather ... isn't Utah the most incredible place?

I've been there twice now, can't wait to go back, and will probably retire there. Thanks for the photos, brought back a lot of good memories.

You've enhanced a trip I've been planning for some time, tkx! No problem finding fuel?

We didn't have any problem with fuel other than it costing a lot more. I have about a 250+ range with my 6 gallon tank. The longest stretch we did without gas stations was route 95 (I don't remember seeing a single building on the entire stretch). We fueled in Hanksville and still had plenty of gas when we reached Blanding. On other days we fueled when we hit a town to stop for a break so our tanks usually were never more than half empty.

Thanks for all the pictures.

I've been through Utah 3 times now and I'm always impressed with the landscape. I'm sure I'll pass through again next summer too.

OUTSTANDING! Some of your canyon shots are 3D. Thank you.

Excellent, tkx! I wish though there were a way to bring the beauty home to show those who can't or choose not to participate in such trips. It's not as enjoyable unless the gifts can be shared <g>. The wife won't ride...

I have a 5 gallon tank and get about 38 to 40 mpg. I've made that stretch several times with no problem at all. If it gets close you can drop into Hyte marina or Halls Crossing marina and fill up.

Very cool video of some of the areas down there - http://vimeo.com/13888708 - although I agree nothing compares to the real thing. Ever since my first trip to Utah I've been telling everyone who would listen how they HAVE to go there and visit.
