ok got it figured out at least for now but this looks doable very easy. First day I will leave and take 26 up until it crosses the BRP and head from there to stations inn and from there on day two to the rest of the BRP. it looks like I will be cutting out a night but at least this way it will provide me a little more flexibility on how I come back

Looks like we'll prolly miss you. I'm leaving Utah on the afternoon of the 31st and pulling into my buddies place in Nebraska on the Oct 1st. We'll be heading out the morning of the 2nd and won't get to NC until the 3rd or 4th, depending on our riding in Tennessee. Not sure if we'll be doing BRP or Tail of the Dragon first. We have no set travel plan, just an idea of what we want to ride. Have a great trip and ride safe.

First morning in the 30's here in the nc mountains. Finally. One good place to stay if timeing is right is the Switzerland Inn ,it is a on the BRP a couple miles west of the Spruce Pine or where road 226 crosses and is bike friendly with great views. They have a bunk house also for groups of riders with up to 8 bed rooms in it with 8 baths and a kitchen and common area. Also a roofed over area for the rides. Pick up Western North Carolina maps when you get a chance to plan any side rides. Looks like our leave season is going to be early this year. Wildrooster- only 30 days in this month! Watch out for the remaining leaves. They can really mess up a good curvy road ride.

Had a chance to enjoy part of the BRP by car last year north out of Easley, SC through the Table Rock Area and up to BRP. We only drove over to Ashville area, but really enjoyed the day. I secretly imagined being on the glide the whole time. I'll be planning my return soon, so this is good information.

Have a great ride Rooster.
