Myself and some friends are leaving Dubllin, Ireland tomorrow to attend the Swiss Harley Days festival in Lugano, Switzerland next weekend 16-18 July. We are travelling from Ireland to France by car ferry and then by road through France to Switzerland arriving in Lugano on Friday morning next. The weather forecast is looking good so cant wait to get started. We will be travelling back through the Swiss Alps on some of Europes best roads so it should be a great trip. Will post some pictures when I get back.

 

Sounds like a good ride. I would love to tour Europe sometime.

 

heading there myself on Friday (its only a 4 hr ride for me), but man you are gonna LOVE your ride through the Alps!

Ride safe, take care on traffic circles, the swiss have them, but no real idea on how to use 'em...

 

Man, what a trip! I look forward to seeing the photos. FWIW, we've been to Ireland a couple of times, and would love to take another trip to tour via motorcycle. There are a couple of places that rent over there, from what I have heard.
