Hey thanks for the clarification. I have edited those photos to reflect your comments! I had heard a lot about the "fireweed" along the Dalton from my past trip research. As I was riding the Dalton that day I even heard on my CB the truckers talking about how late the fireweed seemed to be along the Dalton this year for whatever reason. Glad I know what it really looks like now!

And yes, I really found some interesting towns to get to know. That is one thing that makes these trips so special and creates lasting memories along with the people that you meet!

 

We would love to take a ride to the eastern USA. Just need the time. If we make it there we would definitely give you a shout.

 

i was just our riding in alberta a few weeks back...cold and windy and i wasn't near the mountains...must have had some good cold weather gear eh?
