kansas city twistys??/
I'm heading out to kc and was wondering what roads are the best in the area. I'll be on the MO side closer to Liberty. anything within a 200-250 miles away should do the trick. I'm looking at riding out their (500miles) then spend the next day riding all day and going to a local bike night. then another 500 miles back home.
thanks for any input

I'm not sure if you've already headed to KC and gone back home, but here are a couple of links to Motorcycle Roads & Trips of local routes I've been on that aren't too bad. I've also listed one more route of my own for you at the bottom. I live about 10 minutes west of Liberty and can tell you that southern Missouri and Arkansas are definitely better for riding like Suprpig said.
The Big MO River Run http://www.motorcycleroads.com/route...MO/MO_12.shtml
Tail of the Newt: http://www.motorcycleroads.com/route...MO/MO_11.shtml
Another good one is to take 45 Hwy (shown to the left in in the map for Tail of the Newt) north to 92 Hwy. Take 92 west over the Missouri River and then 7 Hwy south to 5 Hwy south. 5 Hwy south has a bunch of twisties in it and runs parallel to the Missouri River. Once you get to I-435 you can either take I-635 back north to I-29 and I-29 south to 169 north to 152 east, which will take you to you back to Liberty, MO or you can cross I-435 and follow the road on south to Wyandotte County Lake with is nothing but tight twisties. You do have to drive slow through them, but it is almost all covered by overhanging trees so it gives you a nice shady slow ride to cool down for a little while after riding in the heat and humidity here.

thanks for the links, I just got back and it was a blast. we ended up riding part of the river ride (not the whole route posted on that link). Stables or was it Stages bike night was a great time, good food and some cool bike. I ended up staying a extra night to go see a kick *** southern rock band called blackberry smoke at Knuckleheads. I forgot how much fun KC can be.
