Default Gettysburg bike week-what to expect

I'm going to the Finger lakes in NY for family business weekend of July 10th, thinking about riding south to Gettysburg on the 11th (Sunday) which is the last day of Gettysburg bike week. Normally I avoid rallys at all cost, may be unavoidable due to my schedule. Just wondering what to expect as to crowds, etc, and how accessable the battlefield park is at that time of year.

Expect a lotof people leaving. The fair grounds will have last minute shoppers trying to get things cheaper like even shirts and things. Battle grounds are very accessable all week so it'll be even easier on Sunday.

This isn't you typical ******* to elbow rally filled with clubs and tough guys. It's family friendly and very docile. Can't compare Gettysburg to anyother event. To avoid it you'd be missing out.

In 6 years going only one bike known stolen. And it was a goldwing taken from the fairgrounds. Likely an insurance job. And 3 accidents. All ricers showing off and running into dressers.
